Head coach Alan Loper says that the program returns seven starters this year.

“We have seven returning starters and have a good amount of playoff experience,” Loper said. “Including advancing to the second round of the state playoffs last season for the first time in school history.”

Rachel Lovejoy (.413, 29 runs scored, 23 RBIs, 3 HRs), Grace Brown (.234, 22 RBIs, 38 runs) Ansley Mepham, Mary Axelson, Grace Fazzone, Anna Burke and McKenzie Folsom are back for the Lady Bulldogs.

“Our region (5-AAAAA) includes three strong opponents in Arabia Mountain, Miller Grove, and Southwest DeKalb, so it be tough to capture the Region championship,” Loper said. “Our first goal is to win the Region Championship. After that, we will strive to advance further in the state playoffs than last year.”
