“It’s an exciting time in the National Lacrosse League right now with two expansion teams,” Swarm Co-Owner and President Andy Arlotta said. “The level of play has never been higher, which is great for the growth of the league. Our expectations remain high yet again this season with a roster that was built to compete for world championships.

“We look forward to welcoming Swarm fans back to Sting City for a marquee matchup in our Home Opener against the defending world champs. Our organization is working hard this offseason to elevate our fan experience to another level for the 2018-19 season.”

In 2017-18, the Swarm claimed its second-straight East Division Regular Season title after winning its final six games to finish the season at 11-7. Georgia ultimately fell 9-8 against the Rochester Knighthawks in the East Division Finals.

Lyle Thompson once again led the team in scoring, finishing with 86 points (46G, 40A) and leading the team in loose balls (123) and caused turnovers (21), as well. Thompson also received the NLL Sportsmanship Award and was named to the NLL All-Pro Second Team.
