Now, back to Death End re;Quest 2
Death end re;Quest 2 is made with a few collaborations horror gamers will love. First of which, Makoto Kedouin who was the scenario writer of the Corpse Party series, as well as Death end re;Quest character designer, Kei Nanameda, are on board. Making this game a unique blend.
Players will see the story through the eyes of the game’s protagonist, Mai Toyama, as she searches for her younger sister in the mysterious town of Le Choara. This town has many hidden secrets intertwined that can be discovered throughout time playing through the game.
Speaking of, it’s time to see about the story that’s cooking in this game.
According to IF, Mai Toyama is seeking an escape from her traumatic past. She enrolls at Wordsworth, an all-girls dormitory which is where her sister was rumored to be last seen. Hopeful to find her sister Sanae, Mai begins to search but finds more than what she bargained for.
At night, Le Choara’s streets are filled with Shadow Matter which is a horrific group of menacing creatures.

A brand new overkill system is available for characters to stack on damage and get bonus experience.
The Berserker appears during dungeon exploration and battle and can instantly kill anyone with a single blow. This is a faceless, black figure that will appear out of nowhere. The good news, you can avoid it by simply running away or, at least, stepping out of its area of attack.
Day n’ Night progression will be imperative as Mai will need to explore the town of Le Choara during the day and speak with the townspeople to find out clues as to where her sister is. At night though, Mai will have to fight her way through dark creatures in turn-based combat.
The Knockback system returns but now enemies can be hit harder with this system bringing another element to the strategy of the game.
Overall, the release date hasn’t been confirmed as IF hasn’t clarified its release. Some aspects, like the companies site, for the game are also showing the game as RP (rating pending).
