LA-MULANA 1&2 set to release in 2020

NIS America took no time to announce their next game for 2020 as LA-MULANA 1 & 2 will come to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One in 2020.

Both games have been out before but their route to platforms may be the most intriguing. LA-MULANA was released on WiiWare and PC originally before the PlayStation Vita received a copy called LA-MULANA EX in 2014. Its successor, LA-MULANA 2, came through Kickstarter as a successfully funded campaign that amassed over $260,000 in donations. LA-MULANA 2 was released July 2018 for the PC and again in 2019 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Japan.

In LA-MULAN 1 players will take control of archaeologist Lemeza Kosugi and navigate puzzles, traps and deadly Guardians to claim the Secret Treasure of Life.

LA-MULAN 2 will take players through a story where Kosugi goes missing and will have to be rescued by his daughter Lumisa. The ruins of La-Mulan will go upside-down with Eg-Lana.

Both games are puzzle platformers and developed by NIGORO and are currently awaiting an ESRB rating.

NIGORO is a Japanese game development studio founded in 2007, committed to creating games with the philosophy, “What would happen if games evolved in 2D?”
